Freelance Go-To-Market Manager

For one of our customers we are looking for an experienced GO-TO-MARKET manager.

How should we position our product in the market to best meet the needs of our customers? Answering that question is something we leave to you. As Go-to-market Manager you find the best balance between value for the customer and value for our business. The result: more new customers, who stay with us longer because they are completely satisfied. That's your motivation!

  • You breathe entertainment and are familiar with the Flemish entertainment landscape and its specifications. 
  • You independently work out a marketing strategy and flesh out the positioning and more tactical aspects of the marketing plan. This includes working on major 360° launch campaigns, churn-reducing promotional offers, cross selling, upselling and service-oriented initiatives. You conceive and create promotional frameworks and campaigns, work out migration strategies, etc. You take part in shaping new propositions, particularly in the areas of storytelling and positioning. There's no end to the variation and challenges!
  • Digital marketing strategies are an important element of the marketing plans. Here, too, you independently establish the framework.
  • You are responsible for the entire STP process (segmentation, targeting and positioning), and you are the key SPOC between Sales & Care, Product Management, MarCom and many other stakeholders of your projects.
  • You continuously monitor the evolution in our market and at competitors. You adapt your plans and anticipate. 
  • You are full business owner of several entertainment products:
    • You initiate commercial activities, follow up on them and keep them on track based on the KPIs defined in the commercial road map. 
    • You monitor commercial KPI performance (sales, churn, up & downward movements), deep dive in available quali/quanti data to understand performance & find root causes and are able to translate this into key conclusions and an action plan to turn the tide. 


  • You have at least five years of relevant experience, in GTM management, brand management or product management, for example. So, you know exactly how to turn your propositions into a GTM approach. 
  • Your strengths include conceptual thinking and establishing scenarios, and you dare to take strategic decisions. You have no problem defending these decisions at various hierarchical levels within our organisation.
  • More customers – satisfied customers – that's what you do it for. You effortlessly identify with a target group and understand their needs.
  • The use of digital marketing tools and techniques is second nature to you. You use them readily to achieve your goals. 
  • Interpreting data and insights is part and parcel of this job, and this is another of your strengths. This skill helps you take well-founded decisions and monitor business performance.
  • You speak and write Dutch and English fluently.
  • Ideally, you have a master's degree in applied economic sciences, business economics, communication or an MBA, but equivalent experience will also be considered.
