Our customer is looking for a Tester for various applications in the fields of Asset Management and Market Adequacy CRM domains

What will you do
Writing test plans and test scenarios
The mission consists in writing a test plan and test scenarios based on existing documentation and existing functionalities for the above-mentioned applications.
Make a recommendation on the tests to execute (for example on non-regression tests) based on Acceptance criteria defined in User Stories
The test scenarios include:

• Functional testing
• Non-functional testing (volume, performance…)
• Integration testing
• Non regression testing

All the documents are written in English and must be accessible by any European reader having a basic knowledge of English.

Preparing test data
In some cases, test data must be created before executing the test scenarios.
Executing the test scenarios
An important part of the mission is to execute the test plan / test scenarios and to track the bugs before the deployment of the applications.
This must be done with efficiency in mind and within the planning of the team.
Test automation
In coordination with the team, select the test cases to be integrated in an automated test suite.
Do the implementation of the test automation.

Follow up of defects
Enter and follow the defects in our bug-tracking tools. Update and maintain the test documents with the results of the tests.
Achieving a high-quality level in collaboration with the developers and the project leader will be the main goal.
The tester is responsible to give the “Go” to the team to deploy from the test environment to the acceptance environment and will have to consider (and reproduce in test) any bug found in acceptance or production environment.

Requirements 

• Have a proven experience of test plan / test scenario writing.
• Experience in test automation. RobotFramework is becoming a standard into Elia, experience on it is therefore an asset.
• Experience to work within an Agile/Scrum team
• Knowledge of EN is a must (all texts are written in English and the standard language used by the team is English).
• Knowledge of FR and/or NL is a valuable asset.
• Be able to understand simple technical IT concepts like: Service and Client application, Web Service, Protocol, Front end, back end, etc.
• Have a basic knowledge of databases and SQL Queries.
• Knowledge of MQTT experience is a major plus.
• Experience with DevOps tickets is a plus.
• Have experience with window applications, web applications and with Grafana, Prometheus is a plus.
